Wonder Woman-Picture Book

“Wonder Woman – The Story of the Amazon Princess” is the third  and last installment in the series of super-hero books I’ve been working on for my publisher Penguin. This was probably the toughest from the trilogy of books to write because Wonder Woman and the Amazons have a pretty complicated history. The rivalry between the Greek gods, Ares and Aphrodite pitted men against women, resulting in treachery, seduction, slavery…some provocative stuff.  To be able to encapsulate it all in a simplified and toned down manner for young kids was quite a challenge but I’m really happy with the end result.

Available now on amazon and at fine bookstores..

So glad to see this! My daughter loves Wonder Woman, and there’s not much kid-friendly Wonder Woman stuff out there. Even some of the toys seem a little too sexy. My son has your Batman and Superman books, so we’ll be sure to enjoy Wonder Woman.

  2. Depicting Diana with the aesthetic cues of ancient Greek art is an interesting approach.

We can’t wait, Ralph! It’s a great series to introduce our little guys and gals to the great DC heroes we all grew up with.

    Thanks!

  4. Thanks so much Dennis!
