Batman-The Story of the Dark Knight was the first in a series of super-hero origin books I wrote, designed and illustrated. I wanted to re-tell the origin of my favorite super-heroes in a simple format for younger comic book fans. The book not only explains how and why Bruce Wayne becomes Batman, but in a fun, friendly way, also introduces children to Batman’s foes and gives kids a glimpse in a day in the life of being the Batman.  My publisher Viking Books and Warner Bros.  loved the idea so much they signed me on to do the same for Superman and Wonder Woman.
