This country-of-origin poster provides a striking glimpse into the drama of the film, which follows a man struggling with the stigma of being the son of a convicted murderer. The film represents one of the earliest writing and directing efforts by the prolific German filmmaker Harry Piel. Created when Piel was in his early twenties, it predates his extensive career of over 100 films before his retirement in the 1950s.
