Kaibutsu-kun Invitation to Monster Land 1981 Japanese B2 Poster

This is a Japanese B2 Poster (20.3" x 28.7") for the 1981 Japanese animated film Kaibutsu-kun: Kaibutsu Land e no Shoutai (怪物くん怪物ランドへの招待), also known in English as The Monster Kid: Invitation to Monster Land.

Released on March 14, 1981, the film was produced by Shin-Ei Animation and distributed by Toho. It is a spin-off of the 1980–1982 color television series based on the manga by Fujiko Fujio. The story follows the rambunctious prince of Monster Land, Kaibutsu Taro(Kaibutsu-kun), and his human friend Hiroshi. During a winter vacation visit to Monster Land, Hiroshi is accidentally turned to stone by the Monster King's gaze. Kaibutsu-kun must embark on a quest to find the "Flower of Life" to restore his friend.
